The Prophet (s.a.w) said ‘Who ever stands during the nights of Ramadhan (i.e. to pray Taraweeh) full of iman and hoping for the rewards from Allah, all of his/her previous sins will be forgiven by Allah’ (Narrated by Muslim).

Giving charity, Support Sahour and Iftar

The Prophet (s.a.w.) was the most charitable person of all and during Ramadhan he would be even more charitable. In a hadith narrated by At-Tirmidzi, he said: ‘the best charity is the charity in Ramadhan.’

Support people in I'tiqaf

During Ramadan, there are a lot of ibadat to do such as praying obligatory prayers in congregation, praying sunnah prayers, reading Qur’an, reciting lots of duaa, istighfar, dhikir, taubah (repentance) and so on.

The Prophet (s.a.w) always performed I’tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadhan and in the last year before his death, he did I’tikaf for the last 20 days of Ramadhan (Narrated by Imam Bukhari).
