02.
Build a Mosque

Throughout the World, the AHF helps the building of Mosques in which the unity of the spiritual and the worldly aspects of life are preached thereby demonstrating that such community gatherings in Mosques include both spiritual and social elements.
During our life, we may contribute our money towards the building of a mosque or an orphanage or the printing of a useful book. After our death these deeds lighten up our graves and this indeed is a great opportunity, unique to the teachings of Islam. A man should be so crafty so as to sow his farm only to reap the harvest in the hereafter. The teachings of our Imams have emphasized a lot on this aspect.
The Holy Prophet (S) said: “Four things continue to reward a person even after his death; a man who dies on the true path, a good advise or knowledge given by him to someone who acts on that advice, an act of charity and a good son who prays for him and asks for forgiveness on his behalf”.
“Whoever builds a Mosque, desiring thereby Allāh’s (Most High) pleasure, Allāh builds for him the like of it in paradise.”(Sahih Bukhari)
We sincerely invite you to join us in performing good deeds for our Global Communities and in so doing make the world a better place for the millions of people living in difficulty and poverty.
SCHOOLS MADRASAH PROJECTS
01.
School Repair

The AHF helps to repair and fix the schools in order to support students resilience and wellbeing.
02.
School Projects

Thousands of children around the world struggle to meet their basic needs due to poverty and deprivation. Many of them have no access to health care and a large number of children are unable to receive education because there are no schools. Sometimes, even when there is a school, some children, often girls, can’t go to school because their families are so poor that they are forced to work instead. You can make a difference and give them opportunities for a better education and brighter life.
03.
Madrasah Projects

The AHF is striving to help the younger generation, who are growing up in this environment, to begin to understand and appreciate the deep message of the Qur’an. This will allow their Imaan to grow, develop, flourish and generate within them the awareness of their religion, the Shar’iah and its guidance and be able to understand the reason for its implementation throughout their lives, thus engendering in them a strong desire to do good deeds for the Hereafter.
IMAM, SHEIKH, Ustazh AND SHEIKHAH, Ustazah SPONSORSHIP

Most of the Imams, Ustaz, Ustazah, Sheikh, and Sheikha around the world are volunteering with no payment for their role or duties. They are pure volunteers doing their job in the name of Allah (s.w.t). They stand during the nights, lead Muslim communities around the world in prayer and teach our young generation to read the Qur’an correctly.
The AHF is launching a project to provide monthly salary for them so they can feel at peace and continue to serve the communities.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “whoever guides anyone to goodness, his reward shall be the same as those who follow his guidance without lessening a bit of their reward.” (Hadith, Sahih Muslim)
We invite you to join us in performing these good deeds for our Global Communities to make the world a better place for the millions of people living in hardship and poverty.
HIFZ STUDENTS SPONSORSHIP

The AHF supports Huffaz who memorise the Quran to help them integrate Hifz into their daily routine and lives. We provide an opportunity for them to acquire knowledge from the Qur’an and the Hadith. With our support, these Huffaz will continue teaching the methodology of Hifzal-Quran to new generations and so, with continued memorization by these Huffaz, the Qur’an will never be lost.
The AHF considers children who have lost one or both parents to be orphans. The loss of one or both parents as a result of war, illness or natural disasters is a traumatic and harsh reality for millions of children worldwide. Our goal is to provide care and assistance to those children who have lost their parents love and support, allowing them to thrive and receive education. Children are the most vulnerable members of a society and need consistent and comprehensive care and support to grow and prosper. The AHF provides orphaned children with hope, love and prospects for the future.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,“I and the one who looks after an orphan will be together like this in the next world,” then he raised his index and middle fingers together. HadithTirmidhi

RAMADAN RELIEF
01.
Solat Taraweeh Support Global communities

The Prophet (s.a.w) said ‘Who ever stands during the nights of Ramadhan (i.e. to pray Taraweeh) full of iman and hoping for the rewards from Allah, all of his/her previous sins will be forgiven by Allah’ (Narrated by Muslim).
02.
Giving charity

The Prophet (s.a.w.) was the most charitable person of all and during Ramadhan he would be even more charitable. In a hadith narrated by At-Tirmidzi, he said: ‘the best charity is the charity in Ramadhan.’
03.
Reading the Qur’an and I'tiqaf

During Ramadan, there are a lot of ibadat to do such as praying obligatory prayers in congregation, praying sunnah prayers, reading Qur’an, reciting lots of duaa, istighfar, dhikir, taubah (repentance) and so on.
The Prophet (s.a.w) always performed I’tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadhan and in the last year before his death, he did I’tikaf for the last 20 days of Ramadhan (Narrated by Imam Bukhari).
ZAKAT
01.
ZAKAT

Zakat is the third Pillar of Islam. One of the most important principles of Islam is that all things belong to God, and that wealth is therefore held by human beings in trust.
The word Zakat means both ‘purification’ and ‘growth’. Our wealth are purified by setting aside a part and giving for those in need. Giving charity is like pruning of plants – this cutting from the balances – encourages new growth.
Zakat does not refer to charitable gifts given out of kindness or generosity, but to the systematic giving of 2.5% of one’s wealth each year to benefit the poor.
The 2.5% rate only applies to cash, gold and silver and commercial items. There are other rates for farm and mining produce as well as for animals.
The category of people receiving Zakat is defined in surah at-Taubah (9) verse 60: “The alms are only for the poor and the needy, and those who collect them, and those whose hearts are to be reconciled, and to free the captives and the debtors, and for the cause of Allah, and (for) the wayfarers; a duty imposed by Allah. Allah is knower, Wise” (The Holy Qur’an 9:60).
03.
ZAKAT OF FITR

Every Muslim is required to pay Zakat-ul-Fitr at the conclusion of the month of Ramadan as a token of thankfulness to God for having enabled him to observe the month of fasting.
At the time of sunset on Eid ul Fitr night (i.e. the night preceding Eid day), whoever is adult and sane and is neither unconscious, nor poor, nor the slave of another, should give, on his own behalf as well as on behalf of all those who are his dependents, about three kilos per head of wheat, barley, dates, raisins, rice or millet etc.
It is also sufficient if he pays the price of one of these items in cash. As per obligatory precaution, he should not give from that food which is not staple in his place, even if it be wheat, barley, dates or raisins.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW), enjoined Zakat-ul-Fitr on those who fast to shield them from any indecent act or speech, and for the purpose of providing food for the needy. It is accepted as Zakah for the one who pays it before the `Eid prayer, and as a sadaqah for the one who pays it after the prayer.’
The Messenger of Allah (SAW), said, “It would be better that you treat your patients with charity.”
The annual coming of the month of Ramadan is always a special moment for the believers, due the numerous amount of virtues in this month. Rewards and forgiveness of Allah (swt) spread across every single second and place during this sacred month. One who realizes how small the preparation he has to welcome the Judgement Day later on, will be very pleased to welcome Ramadan.
For your Zakat and Zakat of Fitr contribution, you can donate to the Australian Hidayah Foundation. In line with Islamic law and the spirit of Zakat, your donation will be held in a special non-interest earning account. We will distribute your Zakat money to be spent for the following purposes:
(1) To the poor people, who have few belongings.
(2) To a miskin (a destitute person) who leads a harder life than a Faqir (a poor person) and who has absolutely nothing .
(3) To a person who is a Wakil of Holy Imam (a.s.) or his representative to collect Zakat, keep it in safe custody, maintain its accounts and afterwards hand it over to the Imam or his representative or to the poor.
(4) To spend itt in the way of Allah (S.w.T.) for things which have common benefit to the Muslims; for example, to construct a mosque or a school for religious education.
(5) To Muslim converts who may be estranged from their families and in need of help.
(6) To the orphans.
(7) To a stranded traveler who is in need of help.
We would like to invite you to join us in performing these good deeds for our Global Communities andmake the world a better place for the millions of people living in difficulty and poverty.
SADAQAH

SADAQAH
One of the doors that Allah (swt) has opened to everyone to gain big rewards in the month of Ramadan is through Sadaqa (giving charity/alms). Islam always advises its followers to give plenty of charities, especially during the month Ramadan. And that is supposed to be the manner of believers; generosity. Allah and His messenger ordered, even gave example to the followers of Islam to be generous and open-handed people.
“The Upper hand is better than the lower hand. The upper hand is the hand of a giver, and the lower hand is the hand of a beggar” (Narrated by Bukhari in hadith No. 1429 and in Muslim in hadith No. 1033)
A pious person may also give as much as he/she pleases as Sadaqa, and does so preferably in secret. Although this word can be translated as ‘voluntary charity’ it has a wider meaning. The Prophet said ‘even meeting your brother with a cheerful face is a charity.’
For your Sadaqah contribution, you can donate to the Australian Hidayah Foundation. We’re committed to distribute your donations to transform the lives of the poorest people in the world. We work hard to make sure we achieve as much as possible with the contribution we receive from you. You would be surprised about just how far your donations can go. To find out more about how and where your money is spent, you can read our annual report.
We would like to invite you to join us in performing these good deeds for our Global Communities andmake the world a better place for the millions of people living in difficulty and poverty.
They ask you (O Muhammad) what they should spend in charity. Say: ‘Whatever you spend with a good heart, give it to parents, relatives, orphans, the helpless, and travellers in need. Whatever good you do, God is aware of it’ — Al- Qur’an, 2:215
QURBAN AND AQIQAH

Allah says in the Qur’an: ‘It is not their flesh nor their blood that reaches Allah; it is your piety that reaches him’ (22:37)
The philosophy of ‘Qurban’ is that it is a demonstration of submission to Allah, complete obedience to Allah’s Will or Command and sacrificing everything for His pleasure. Nabi Ibrahim (AS) demonstrated this spirit of submission and sacrifice in the best possible manner. When confronted with the challenge of love and allegiance, he chose to submit unconditionally to Allah and suppressed his personal desires and love for his family and child.
Qurban calls for the slaughter of one’s innate desires by placing the knife of courage and resistance on hatred, jealousy, pride, greed, animosity, love for the world and other such maladies of the heart.
Millions of Muslims around the world get together as Eid al-Adha draws closer. The ritual of sacrificing for the sake of Allah, namely Qurban, reminds all Muslims, regardless of their race, language and color of skin, that they are part of one Ummah (community).
“Whoever honours the symbols of Allah, it is surely from the piety of the hearts” (Surah al-Hajj, 22:52)
Allah (swt) has ordered us to celebrate Eid Al-Adha to remember Him and thank Him, and to slaughter a Qurban on this day. It is the Sunnah of our Nabi Ibrahim (pbuh) and was also practised by our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Qurban is a highly recommended Sunnah for those who can afford it and provides food for the orphans, poor and needy.
The Australian Hidayah Foundation invites you to increase your rewards during this gracious occassion by donating your Qurban and Eid gifts to the orphans, poor and needy, and to bring happiness into their lives. The cost of a Qurban is $130. We will distribute your Qurban meat and Eid gifts to the underprivileged Global Communities.
Prophet Muhammad said: “The son of Adam does not do any action on the day of sacrifice which is more pleasing to Allah than the sacrifice of animals; the animal will come on the Day of Resurrection with its hair, horns and hooves (for reward). The blood certainly reaches Allah before it falls to the ground. So make yourselves purified therewith” (Tirmizi and Sunan ibn Majah).
We would like to invite you to join us in performing these good deeds for our Global Communities andmake the world a better place for the millions of people living in difficulty and poverty.
